Bougane Guèye Dani, le leader du parti Gueum Sa Bop, semble surpris par les déclarations du président Bassirou Diomaye Faye, faites samedi 13 juillet, concernant les fonds politiques. Lors d’un point de presse ce dimanche, M. Guèye s’est appuyé sur le budget de la présidence de la République pour remettre en question les affirmations du chef de l’État.
Selon M. Guèye, seuls 28% du budget de la présidence ont été consommés. Il demande donc des explications sur l’utilisation du reste de ce budget. De même, il affirme que seulement 24,83% du budget global ont été dépensés, et il exhorte le président à clarifier la situation des “fonds spéciaux”.
Le leader de Gueum Sa Bop a lancé un défi direct au président de la République. Mécontent des déclarations de samedi, il a déclaré : “Ce que le président a dit sur les fonds politiques, ça ne tient pas. Sur la nomenclature des fonds politiques, ça n’existe pas, mais il y a trouvé des fonds spéciaux.”
Pour étayer son propos, M. Guèye a révélé que le rapport d’exécution budgétaire du premier trimestre 2024 était à la disposition du président. Il le met donc au défi de s’expliquer sur l’utilisation des 22 milliards restants du budget de la présidence, ainsi que sur les 75,17% non consommés du budget global.
