Deux agents de La Poste seront présentés au procureur de la République ce jeudi 18 juillet, à la suite d’une plainte de la direction générale de Poste Finance, une filiale de La Poste. Ils sont accusés d’avoir détourné 34 millions de francs CFA en pompant des comptes dormants.
Selon le journal L’Observateur, les mis en cause se nomment O.S. et Mme S. Cette dernière est décrite comme “une caissière, très engagée dans le syndicat”. Elle “falsifiait les écritures en complicité avec un autre agent [O.S. ?] avant de procéder au retrait des chèques” émis frauduleusement.
Le journal indique que ces pratiques frauduleuses auraient duré “des mois” et été découvertes lors d'”audits approfondis menés par l’Inspection générale au niveau des différents centres”.
O.S. et Mme S. ont reconnu les faits et déjà remboursé 15 millions de francs CFA sur le montant en question. La famille de Mme S. serait “en train de remuer ciel et terre pour régler le reliquat, 19 millions”.
Ce détournement intervient alors qu’un autre dossier similaire, portant sur 1,5 milliard de francs CFA, est en cours au niveau du deuxième cabinet d’instruction du tribunal de Dakar, impliquant trois autres agents de La Poste.
