Le président de la République, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, a exprimé son indignation suite à l’incident survenu lors d’un meeting de l’ex-président américain Donald Trump en Pennsylvanie, le samedi dernier. Trump a été visé par des tirs et touché à l’oreille.
Par le biais de son compte sur le réseau social X, le chef de l’État a dénoncé cet acte qu’il qualifie d’ “odieux”. Dans son message, il a déclaré : “Je suis horrifié par l’acte odieux contre le candidat Donald Trump. Les valeurs démocratiques universelles et la liberté de choix du peuple américain ne doivent pas être réduites au silence.”
