Cette décision a été révélée par le Premier ministre, Ousmane Sonko, lors d’une audience accordée à une délégation de l’association “Jama-atoun nour assouniya”, qui coordonne les travaux d’achèvement de la Grande mosquée de Tivaouane.
“L’année 2025 marquera le premier budget que nous avons élaboré. Il y aura dans ce nouveau budget des fonds spécifiquement alloués au culte”, a promis le chef du gouvernement, cité par le journal Les Échos. Selon lui, ces fonds prendront en compte “toutes nos préoccupations en termes d’exposition, d’interlocuteurs…”.
